The official source for the open ecosystem for 3D-printing filament.
Download TigerSystem SoftwareTigerSystem provides a standard way to track and manage your 3D printing materials. It uses smart tags to identify the specific type, brand, and remaining length of your filament spools. This system prevents common printing errors and helps you keep an accurate inventory of your supplies.
This software works with standard RFID tags. You attach these tags to your spool holders or directly to the filament rolls. The application reads these tags to ensure your 3D printer uses the right settings for every job.
You need a computer running Windows 10 or Windows 11 to use this software. Ensure you have at least 200 megabytes of storage space available. You will also need an RFID reader station connected to your computer via USB to perform tag scans.
Follow these steps to set up the software on your machine:
Once you open the software, follow these steps to add your first spool:
The system stores this data locally. You do not need an active internet connection to manage your spools day-to-day.
Can I use this with any printer? Yes. TigerSystem tracks the filament data independently of the printer hardware.
What if the tag scans incorrectly? Ensure the tag sits centered on the reader. Keep other metallic items away from the antenna zone during the scan.
Is this software free? Yes. This is an open ecosystem project designed for the community.
